Colors to use for a basic theme beach bedroom?

I am using ivory, navy and I think a yellow light ... would that work? My walls are light brown and I am not painting them. I have a wardrobe, white tables, curtains ivory (could change navy) and clothes bed with navy cushions feet with a marine focus of an explosion of colors. I thought to put the yellow lights ... to be too research?
