There are plenty of ways to look at pictures whether they are in a case or on the wall or even in an album, but only some ways are fun to set up and look at once you are done. In this case, a photo display case would be the best way to view your pictures in your room. The best types of rooms for this type of display would either be a living room or an office or some type of sitting room because these are rooms where people often convene together and gather and where they will be able to look at pictures while they are there.

Once you have decided on where the case should be placed you can figure out what type of case you would like to buy. You can sometimes find these types of cases in consignment shops or even at antique stores or high end furniture stores. Cases come in an assortment of different styles such as metallic and glass or gold and glass, but a common theme that you will find is glass so that the case can stay closed as you look at it. In some cases you may find a wooden case, but that has to be opened to view what is inside of it.

Once you have found your glass case it is important to install glass lights in the case that can light it up. These lights are sometimes battery operated, but other times you will have to wire them throughout the entire piece. The good thing about that option is that you will be able to control all of the light with a single button or light switch. This way you will be able to light up all of your beautifully framed pictures in no time.

Hummm, I wish you had a picture:) I thought that what you were referring to was a “Harp”, the metal piece that connects to a normal table lamp, which hold the shade up, but now I’m not too sure. Are there any threads anyplace, where you could screw on a finial after you put the shade on?? You might search eBay, for “Antique floor lamps” and maybe you can get some kind of idea from a picture of a similar lamp on there, and be able to figure out the problem:)
