How long would it take a Palmetto bug to cook?

Please don’t get me on animal cruelty. This palmetto bug has been terrorizing my room for the past week. It’s about 3 inches long, and I just got in a huge fight with it, that lasted about 5 minutes. I finally trapped it under my Lava Lamp’s base, and used clothing to keep the lava lamp from falling over. The lava lamp can get quite hot, I’d say about 200 Degree’s Farenheit. How long do you think it would take to kill the Palmetto Bug in this fashion? I cannot leave it on all night to be safe…as it is quite a fire hazard, as it is quite old.
30 minutes, and he was quite cooked.

Not terribly long if where ever the bug is actually contained is that hot.

That temperature should fry it in a few minutes.
