What does the ceiling fan in the bathroom do with the air it sucks up?
I live on the first floor in a 2 story apartment building.
In my toilet, in the ceiling, there is a fan. It has a button that turns it on and off. I’d say that 80% of all bathrooms/toilets in the world have these fans. My question is… where do they lead?? Does the air go up a chimney and out through the roof, or what?

You probably don’t have a window in your bathroom. Its an exhaust fan to pull out the moisture in the bathroom usually from taking a warm/hot shower or bath. The air travels through the ducts & goes outside.
