Why are there no rumors about the firing of Ellen Wheeler and david Kreizman on Guiding Light?

You can google and google and you’ll find all kinds of fans venting their hatred for Guiding Light brass, how we hate the new filming and outdoor sets, how low the ratings are, but you never hear about anyones job being in jeopardy for it? Why the hell is this?
2Beagles, you’re dillusional. Nobody watches Guiding Light anymore. There rating are 1.8 and in the basement. The changes are not going to help them get young viewers. Young viewers are gained through generational attachment, not teeny bopper storylines and dorky reality tv like filming. My friends and I were in Middle School when we started watching this show and we watched it for the upper 20′s to middle aged characters, the classy settings and traditional soap opera decadence. The show is just a shell of what it used to be.
Secondly, if the show was any good, all the good actors wouldn’t be fleeing it!
Guiding Light was much much better looooong before Richard.

Obviously, GL had their reasons for such drastic changes in the show that they don’t think it’s necessary to fire anyone on their staff. I honestly don’t care and really wonder if there’s more to what we know. I asked a question about what people would like to have changed and I got less answers than I expected. I was expecting a lot more answers for the number of complaints I’ve been seeing. People are still watching the show and they’ll always get new viewers, so I don’t see anything major coming out of the complaints.
