Wiring Installation help?
I have a Hunter Ceiling fan, I just bought a Hunter ceiling fan and light remote control model 27157. I can get power to the remote, but it will not turn anything off or on. I have 1 copper ground wire 1 white and 1 red wire in the ceiling. the ceiling fan has 1 white 1 black and 1 green wire. Now the remote has 1 red that it was for the fan and has 2 white commons 1 black, 1 black and white stripped for the light, and another white wire that says its live. What do you wire what to what to make the remote work. Thank you for any and all help.
I’ve just looked at the diagram, it looks easy, the remote is wired in first, AC in black and white, hook to your ceiling red and white, the fan wires, green is ground hook to ceiling copper, black to black output on remote, white to common output on remote,
the light goes to red output on remote and white to common white output on remote. should work as long as dip switches match.
