I have a ceiling fan to become habit. If the switch is once or twice and stopping.

This is a new fan (under 2 years) and I installed it myself. I have more fans in the house while I installed and run continuously and had no problem with them. I wonder if anyone has a good place to start troubleshooting. For example, I prefer not to down the fan and then find the problem is with the switch or on the line. Light the fan works well.

Sounds like the electric motor windings are fried. I suggest buying a new one.
