sir, I have an antique light fixture, 1919,?
yes , I have a few light fixtures,that are original to my house, they come down from the ceiling, with an ornate center,and four arms come out ,that light bulbs screw into. the problem is there doesnt seem to be a way to put any glass shades around them,making them look incomplete. were there lights made that didnt have shades,with the bulbs just hanging out?
Shades would go right on the bulb itself. It would have metal wire inside the shade to prevent it from coming in contact with the hot bulb.
