redoing my bedroom but mom wont let me?
I realllllllly want to redo my bedroom. not like completely like get all new furniture & stuff,but like modernize some things.get a new bedspread, a new lamp, a new rug ,some curtains. and stuff like that. but my moms like ABSOLUTELY NOT. because i redid it when i was 9 and im 13 now and when i was 9 she picked out everything for me. except i picked my furniture.but i was 9 & its huge a bulky and my room is so small. shes letting my 15 year old brother redo his. but he never redid his room before. but so what! his bedroom is like triple the size of my parents room and like bigger than our family room..& she tells me that i already got the chance to redo mine! but my room is so small and like ugly. it has a hilary duff “Candies” bedspread and like bubble gum walls. im 14! not 9.. any ways to convince my mom to let me redo something?. and are there any stores that have a cheap bedroom budget?
I’m having the same problem as you are. 14 and not to found of my pink bedroom. But you can always save up some money of your own and make little changes. Like hanging up posters.Or hang up pictures out of magazines. I even hang up drawings that my friends made. I’m not really sure about stores but you could look around at some garage sales for a cheap lamp or a bed spread. Or you could make a lamp shade of your own to put on the lamp you have.
