Shed Conversion.. of sorts ha.?
My house has a little hallway to the backdoor and also has a shed built onto it so its near enough another room in my house.
One problem, Its only ever been used as storage so its damp, cold no electricity etc.
I want to convert it into a Home Gym.
It only needs to be dry & safe,
im not bothered about electrics for now ill just use a lamp on an extension cable.
Its built out of single layer brick wall & as a house is built out of two, it needs to be warmer..
Its full of spiders and crap collected over the years so i have no idea where to start.
Its bare brick wall at the moment with a concrete floor, how do i go about converting it in the QUICKEST, CHEAPEST way?
Use a shop vac to clean up the dust, dirt and spiderwebs. You’ll need to make sure the floor is level and after that throw down some white Kilz primer if you like. Try some carpet remnant (that would help with the weights that would hit the hard concrete. The carpet would also help with insulating against the cold a little.
