Different ways to open up and/or light a bedroom?
So does anybody have any ideas and tricks on how to make a bedroom feel more open and roomy(or big)? And also cheap lighting ideas, or tricks to enhance/amplify/exaggerate existing artificial light or sunlight. I only have a ceiling light that holds two sockets for bulbs and a floor torchier lamp thing as my only means of art. light at the moment. My bedroom window faces south and the backyard is shady and I don’t get as much sunlight as I want. I am also trying to open up my room a little more so it’s more flowy and calm instead of crazy and cramped (besides of course cleaning the clutter

paint your room a bright colour… i think white will do good…. as bright colours reflect a lot of light… eradicate all the furniture in your room that you don’t really need as less furniture makes the room look bigger… put a mirror on the wall opposite to the window as it will reflect the light as well as make the room look bigger.
