I've been a decorator's Christmas lights for the last 6 years, illuminating the homes and shopping centers in the Midwest. It is a seasonal business, and what is different is that only work for 2 months (November and December). If you are planning to launch, a study of their area and learn even the lights. It extends during the day to feed. The base of the coral is buried in the substrate and will grow thin root-like structures to keep itself in place. These soft corals are not photosynthetic and do not require lighting. They do require planktonic feedings, moderate current, and sufficient trace element levels to thrive. While the coral itself is fairly hardy, its feeding requirements make it fairly difficult to maintain over time.
