Unique, old world, charming, curious????
I’m redecorating my home, and am always on the look-out for unusual items . . . . any type – from accessories to furniture. My tastes lean toward “old world” and primitive items, I collect old wallclocks, and don’t mind reproductions. I love to go to garage/estate sales and flea markets to hunt for decorative items. I live in Plano, TX and would like to find local stores as well as great websites. Please share your treasured shops – I would much appreciate!
I’ve found some great things at Goodwill, the Salvation Army, and thrift shops. I’m in San Antonio, so I can’t help you with locations, but look in the phone book for resale shops, then call and see if they carry things other than clothes. You might look under charitable organizations, too.
