Why is a hairdresser allowed to charge differently for men and women?
My hair length is the same as my son’s. We visit the same hairdresser. He has his hair washed, cut and blow-dried. I have exactly the same thing done. He is 21 so is not a student and has no other reason to qualify for a discount. They charge him $35 and charge me $75. Can anyone shed some light on why females are charged so much more than men when it comes to hairdressing? Isn’t there a law against charging one person so much more than another for exactly the same service?
