I’ll bet you still get a lot of different answers here, but I’d say that your best bet is to study the climate of egypt. Egypt is a desert, it’s hot during the day. Does it get sub-degree temperatures at night? Then I’d shut the heat lamp off. If it continues to stay hot at night, then leave it on. Do some research on where the lizard actually comes from and make your deductions from there.
