How has the 'Great Recession' current changed the way you live?

I spend very little on eating out. I turn off all lights unnecessary, fans, running water. I sow clothes torn. I eat all the leftovers. My family cooks meals only 3 times a week to save energy. We set all our broken things instead of buying something new. We planted fruit trees and a garden and eat all you can grow out of our backyard. We cut the service telephone and cable and Internet use and the Magic Cat to TV and telephone. Our dogs do not treat you more, but get the gravy is poured into kitchen croquettes. I made crocheted plastic bags to make better use of something that is free. It applies to all samples we can get. We take sugar, spices, napkins, straws, TP even we had no money for it until next week. And as always, still looking for work. And you? Things I've noticed the others doing: selling fish, fruit, or garage sales. Eating wild berries. Fishing in the canals.

No eating out. Staycations. Less than Christmas presents. Movies out there. Clothing and household items from the thrift store. Do not buy books or software. We found the library.
