Where can I find a dimmer switch that attaches to a lamp (not a wall switch) that’s compatable with a CFLbulb?
My boyfriend bought a dimmable CFL for a lamp in his bedroom. When he put it in the lamp it would only dim a little bit, if he tried to dim it more it flickered like a strobe light. The only dimmers he has been able to find are the kind for a fixture, he needs one that will attach directly to his floor lamp.
you can still wire one of those in the power line… if you don’t like that look you will need to get a new fixture
