While part of your answer depends on things like location, much of a peasant’s life was very work oriented, predominantly in the fields, except for the winter time, with women being more home oriented purely for reasons of physical strength.
Candles were the most common of lighting sources, as oil lamps were too expensive for a peasant, beeswax candles being the most common candle, since tallow was more expensive.
Most cooking was done over an open fire in the home, as most peasants didn’t have anything more than a one room cottage for the entire family, and were lucky if they had an actual fireplace. Cooking would be done on a spit or in a large cauldron that could be hung over the fire.
Sometimes a clay domed oven for baking was available, but that was usually placed outside the house, for fear of fire.
Most peasants had wooden bowls and cups since metal was too expensive, and their plates were bread, large slabs of bread, which were used to soak up the juices of what they were eating, they called it “Trencher” bread. Utensils were their fingers, mostly, or eating knives, maybe a wooden spoon if necessary, though usually they’d just drink a soup or stew directly from the bowl, much like Japanese do, to this day.
