Romantic lighting? besides candles? I was thinking of draping fabric over my hanging lamp shades?
I am fixing a romantic dinner for valentines day and plan on decorating with a red bed canopy hanging over the table (in the living room) and putting some red, orange and gold pillows out. What can I do with the lights I already have to make it more romantic? I do not have alot of room for candles. Would red light bulbs look bad? How about drapeing fabric over my hanging lights? They have stainless steal lamp shades.
ok so the fabric is a bad idea. What else can I do. I like the christmas light idea.
Don’t drape fabric over lights, it’s a fire hazard. Try dimming the lights or putting in lower watt bulbs. If you do this right, he won’t much care about the lighting anyway.
