How do you reinstall ceiling light fixture?
I have a light fixture that hasn’t worked for some time. i have two of the same fixtures in one basement room. They are circle lights with bulbs that look like a halo. One fixture works while the other one doesn’t. i decided to open the one that doesn’t work and see that it has 3 wires. one is black one is white and one is green. the green one is not connected to anything however. is the green one suppose to be connected to something?
Yes… green is your ground. Should be connected to the green screw on the metal part of the fixture. Open up the other for reference to see where that one goes. Make sure power is off when working with electricity!
