What kind of flower is this?

I saw this in an old issue of Better Homes & Gardens while waiting for the doctor. The best way I can describe, is that it appeared that a brown suit that diversified and grew very small, yellow flowers. I thought it was beautiful, and I have painted in my room but I have to find a picture of her to do so. If it helps at all, a common theme in this room was the flowers decorating Asia and Asia.
