I’ve found my Bettas do best in normal proper tropical set ups, with filter, heater, fully cycled and heavily planted. They have the similar needs as any other tropical fish.

Both tanks you linked are actually entirely unsuitable for fish. There’s no filter, no heater and they’re too small. The second one got banned from sale in Tescos in the UK! The RSPCA stepped in on that one.

Look into proper tanks like the Aqua One 320.

Bettas do not live in “cow footprints” and puddles!!! They originate from vast rice paddies acres wide and rivers, lakes and streams in the forests of Thailand and Malaysia. These are heavily filtered by rains and plants, any fish found in a “puddle” has ended up there by accident and will probably get eaten by a passing bird.
