A loft is going to take up such a ginormous amount of what little space you have I think you will feel closed up and so close to the ceiling that you could touch the ceiling. I would look more in to multi use furniture and items. If you can swing the expense, they make TV’s that look like mirrors but when you use the remote, its a TV.
You can also make a unit that goes against the wall that can be your bed and dresser area with built in book shelves and then have a separate unit for a TV or desk area or, build a pull out laptop area in to your bed idea.
