Confused about indoor plant light bulbs.?
I am used to the trays and seedlings being put next to my big bay window where they get sunlight all day long. I rotate them so they don’t bend, but I want to be more effective and buy a lamp or light bulb that will help. I am sick of all the websites confusing me about what I should buy, eventually their recommendation turns into costing $300.00. All I am looking for is something under $50.00 that will help a little. I am not looking to build a greenhouse or a complex system in my basement. I have plenty of lamps in the house, what specific lamp bulbs can I use that can be bought at Menards/Home Depot/Lowes that will help a little?
You can get a simple flourescent lighting fixture at Home Depot or Lowes and use the flourescent grown lights that are also available there to use for indoor plants. You can also get incandescent lights that will also do the job. Take a look at this from Lowes:
