Lights work, ceiling fan does not…what is the problem?
Last summer, my husband flipped non-essential circuit breakers before evacuating for a hurricane. When we came home about a week later and re-flipped all of the circuit breakers, our ceiling fan had stopped working. It does have a lighting kit that works just fine; it’s just the fan that does not work. It doesn’t make any noise when the switch is flipped. This fan does not have a remote.
Any suggestions on what the problem could be are appreciated.

Does the fan have a rotation switch? Is it set to one way or another and not in between or off?
