Which do you choose more often? Settle for practicality or follow your dreams?
I understand that sometimes these two things are one in the same. For instance if you’ve always dreamed to be a doctor. Well thats a very practical, stable job to have and its also a dream job for you.
However, what I’m referring to is when these two things dont match up…which do you choose? Your heart or your mind? For instance: I really want to be a home interior decorator but since I just had a child it is more practical for me to become a nurse because of income and job security. Another example: What if you are madly in love with someone…would you choose them if they were slightly unstable? Or would you keep looking for a more practicle partner and SETTLE?
I’m follow my dream because, you know, that whole “one life to live” sort of thing. I want to be happy and know that I really have it in me to do what I’ve always dreamed to do. I follow my heart too. I couldn’t ever see myself settling down. Honestly, it’s just not in me to do it. Maybe I’m still too young to really consider it (I’m 18), but I just don’t think I ever will, so I’m not really concerned whether or not they were “unstable”.

They will also search the aquarium looking for excess food leftover from your fish. |
