There are several options:

1. You can install glass breakage detectors that work in conjunction with your alarm system. When the glass is broken, it sets-off the alarm.

2. You can install alarm window screens that work in conjunction with your alarm system. These look just like regular screens but have tiny wires built into them that detect when the screen is cut or removed. The advantage of alarm window screens is that they can provide protection even when the window is left open.

3. There are a variety of different types of locking devices you can install on your windows. These range from simple wood rods that can be placed in the window track, to more sophisticated types of locks that require a key to open the window.

4. You can have what is known as “security film” installed on the inside of your window glass. This makes the glass much stronger and, even when the glass is broken, makes it difficult to enter through the windows.

5. You can have metal bars installed on the inside of the windows. If you need to use the window as an exit path in case of fire, be sure that the bars have a release mechanism that allows them to be removed from the inside.

Please note that for best security, you could implement more than one of these options at the same time. For example, you might choose to install glass breakage detectors as well as to install better locks on the windows.
