This is a very difficult question to answer since their are so many different variable…one story, two story, basement, type of insulation, type of wall coverings, etc etc, I had a rental property that just needed 2 rooms rewired due to the age of the home and I had to re-sheet rock the entire rooms, repaint, basically I had to rebuild the entire interior of the 2 rooms…then to top it off, the electricians in my area charge an arm and a leg…I spent over 6k for the two rooms, but I wanted to make the rooms look great to give the home more appeal for possible tenants…I would definitely get at least 4-5 estimates from different electrical contractors also…I had a range of about $800 between the 6 estimates that I received…I could tell that the electricians that needed the work gave me a more honest bid where a few of them seemed like it was to big of pain and gave me a high bid. I also had a friend tell me my local Home Depot could have helped, but I already completed the project to see what they had to offer. Good Luck!
