How does a touch lamp work?
Obviously I know that you touch it and it comes on, so don’t answer that, but I want to know how a touch lamp can tell the difference in a finger and a book, a piece of metal, or even a fingernail. Why does it only turn on if you touch it with a finger or the equivalent?
I don’t need to know how mine works, I want to know how one works in general…
