I wish you had kept track of what wires went where.
Now you have to track down where they go and what they do.
But if your not familiar with this kind of work, I strongly suggest you find someone who is and have them do it for you because it can be dangerous and I wouldn’t want you or your beautiful baby getting hurt.
Did you make sure that the box you attached the fan to is rated for a fan?
The regular light fixture boxes are plastic and not able to handle the weight and vibration caused by a fan.
Please be safe..

EDIT -

Okay, I don’t usually give instructions on electrical work because of the risks involved but here goes.
Separate all the wires in the box so no ends are touching and switch on your breaker.
CAREFULLY test the ends of each Romex cable with a meter until you find the hot line.
Switch the breaker off again and mark the hot line with a marker or whatever.
Now you’ve got the line in, you have to find the wire that goes to the switch.
Using a meter, test the continuity between each black and white set from each Romex cable (not the hot line) while someone flicks the switch on and off.
Once you find it, it will register on the meter.
Mark it.
Okay now, connect all the ground wires together (including the fan’s ground).
Then connect all the Black wires together (NOT the fan’s).
Now connect all the white wires (including the fan’s) EXCEPT the white from the switch.
This one connects to the fan’s black wire.
That should solve your problem..
But again, please be safe.
