Installing a wall mounted new light fixture (w/ ground wire) to a box with no ground wire, can it be done?
All I have coming from the wall are the white and black wire, no others. My new fixture has white, black and a bare ground wire. How can I hook it up? Thanks!
so I can just attach the bare ground wire to the mounting bracket/green screw? Should I cover it with electrical tape?
The other options are not going to work. House was built in 1955. Thanks for the tips, electricity repairs are a little intimidating
