How to build an affordable prefab house using steel framing and steel exterior cladding?
Currently, I am looking to build an affordable house using light gauge steel framing with miniral wool insulation. The only problems are that I want to us as much steel for the house as possible. The exterior walls, interior walls, roof truss, roof sheets and fixtures. Problems are that no one company can supply such materials or constructs an affordable house made of steel. The house must be fast to build because of tropical weather, little wood as possible due to termites and expense, easily constructed with little or no skills. I remember Sears had steel homes in the 1920-30s does anyone have any solutions or suggestions?
There are companies that sell metal fame kits for homes. Check out the ads in poplar mecanics and etc.
