3rd Year in College New Roommates?
I sort of got randomly assigned with new roommies. Should I contact them and see if can share the load on what we are bringing.

I’m also bring a few dishes and cups, by few I mean few 4 cups, couple coffee mugs, 6 forks, 4 spoons,2 butter knives.
I plan on getting a little vaccuum(spelling, I can’t spell it to save my life) along with a iron and small iron board. Plus a hand towel for bathroom, along with a floor rug for the bathroom.
I’m trying to be nice and think of others, this semester, b/c i’m an only child and I don’t like to share.
So should I contact them and see what they can bring or screw them and worry about myself?

It is nice that you are being considerate and it is beneficial because they for the rest of your time together they will also be contributing and not only buying things for their personal use.
