so no, not a chance…..any plants with color need high light and lots of iron in the water.

keeping plants is a go little or go big event so becareful.
Nothing in the middle really works… DIY Co2 is a joke and causes far more problems than it solves due to its instability and exhaustive nature. So pressurized is key for stable plant growth with no algae growth.

Find a cheap system of that first like red sea kits before you dwell on lighting because if you can’t afford the co2 the lighting is pointless.

Light is the plants gas pedal, you crank it up you have to crank everything else up. One thing is out and all you grow is pounds of algae.

Know everything in advance ..

Keeping plants is a rewarding challenge….

High light tanks are about 50 times harder than keeping fish.

In fact to hardcore planted tanks fish are an after thought.
