Can I use “F CSA NMWU 10/2 Superflex (-25c) 300V FT-1″ cable to run pond pump(s) and Filter(s)?
The house I purchased has the wire above running in the backyard buried directly under rocks
The wire was plugged directly into an outside outlet
I was hoping I could add a GFC, and then run 2 pumps , and two filters off of the line. The one pump draws 5.5 amps, the other one I would assume would use less as it is smaller. The filters
The wire runs about 250ft from the side of the house to the pond where I would like to connect it.

10/2 sounds like it will handle the load (amps) but for a gfci plug to work you will need 10/3 for the ground. If you can afford it I would use 8/3 and bury it in pvc conduit wired straight from the electrical panel and size the GFCI breaker to match.
