ok we are think of renting our house for a year while my husband is restationed for ayear long training and want to know what people would pay for our house.

it very much depends on your location…some places can charge more, some less. I know a 4bdrm near me would be somewhere around 1500-2000/mth…but in some places that is peanuts. I highly recommend charging your mortgage+utilities+insurance and make a little chunk for repairs in your estimate for charging rent. Check out local newspapers and view some rentals similar to your sq footage and base your estimate around theirs. you could also get a real estate agent to come give u an estimate of what they would charge. Sometimes renting can be a pain…you have to find somone who takes care of your home and is willing to stay long term and not a couple months, pays rent and is quiet…and if you get all this it’s half the battle!!
