I just want to say that I simply love antler decor in a cabin. It simply looks great with the rustic, lodge look! I enjoy and adsorb everything that they can bring a room. If you have not guessed, I am an outdoors man and have a thing for rustic, lodge looking decor. This includes chandeliers, lighting fixtures, and many others. I have noticed that many people are curious about these creations. I will answer how many of them are made, where to but them, and how much they cost. In a sense, this will be an antler decor buyer’s guide and information resource.

Antler decor can be made by a small business operation or a larger, more industrialized company. To my knowledge, most of the small businesses are located out west somewhere. There are several types of decorative items within the realm of antler decor. This includes chandeliers, mirror, lamps, and tables. There are probably many more types of antler furnishings available; I just wanted to name a few. So some of the basic question that I will answer is about how they are made.

Antler furnishings are usually made from real, authentic, antlers, but they can also be made from fake horns. If you decide to go with the fake models, there is usually a price cut. However, many people say that the material that these products are made from is not very strong. This may be biased; I do not really have a definite answer.

Anyways, the antler chandelier, lamps, and other furnishings are usually composed of a varied arrangement of cascading antlers. There are several sizes, shapes, and arrangements that are available to choose from. I have seen chandeliers that were over six feet tall! So customer satisfaction is usually really high for most of these companies that allow the customer to customize their furnishings. On of my favorite antler furnishings are table and floor lamps. I do really like tables, but they are a little to expensive for my blood. The lamps are very simple and tend to not cost as much money as some of the other rustic lighting fixtures. I have a place in the mountains where these floor and table lamps look great. I also have a deer antler chandelier that looks great. It was made from reproduction horns or cast horns, and looks great. I really cannot tell the difference.

If you are complaining about the high prices of these antler furnishings for your cabin, then I will try to explain why they are so high. These rustic creations take a certain level of skill that not too many people are able to master. Those that do have the skill can make chandeliers and lamps that are astonishing. Due to the well known quality of this skill, prices on these products tend to be high. That’s just the way that it is. More times than not, if something is hard to make or has something valuable – it will be expensive.
