Which LED bulb will actually look brighter & illuminate more based on lumens & W equivalency?
The first bulb says that it is 594 lumens, but equivalent of 50W. The second bulb says that it is 308 lumens, but equivalent of 70W. I’m thinking Lumens is just the *area* that it lights up, while W is the intensity. If I’m buying this bulb for a desk lamp to read, can someone quickly tell me which would be best? Thanks!!
It depends on the use. However, High Power, High Output, surface mounted Luxeon bulbs are good. But the Cree LEDs
are better, they are brighter have 100 degree angle and more versatile.
