Last winter I was knocked off my bike by a lorry, at the time I was using really bright red led lights and wearing reflective gear. The atitude what I seem to see get is that many motorist don’t seem to give a dam about cyclists. My commute home is on busy country road and I have notice Farm Tractors with flashing amber light. You see them from a great distance so you have time react in a car. A cyclist with red lights, it only a bike and you don’t get the same reaction from motorist. So I’am looking at all options for tail lights but the amber led on my rucksack seems a good idea but I don’t know if the police are going to think its a good idea. “Some smart alex going to say your a bike not tractor”.
