The face of the inverted pendent is bent towards the ceiling. This avoids sharp glare giving a soothing light which makes a relaxing environment. You can only use inverted lamps for decoration purpose and for giving a good ambiance. But these inverted lamps are not good for reading and doing other minute things until unless paired with table lamps.

Down light pendants are used for reading and for other minute purpose. It is designed for famously used in areas, game tables, pool tables, and places where a particular task needs to be illuminated. It gives a sharp light on the area hence giving a good illumination. For more light you can also use a mini pendant which uses the bulb of around 40 watts. You can also use a group of mini pendants along with the down light pendants which gives more illumination. Mini pendants can also be used for decoration purpose. These mini pendants can be hanged in a line or in any other geometrical shape. It adds a beauty to the room.

Pool table and billiard lights are usually constant lights which help in building the concentration. The materials using which these lights are made are stained wood, brass, wrought iron, smoked glass, and other materials. You can buy pendant lights from twenty dollars to thousands of dollars.
