For mothers day, I spent 21$ together on two nice bouquets of lilies for my mother (8$ and 13$). The flowers were HUGE and smelled beautiful and made our kitchen seem light earthy and left our house with a flora scent! My mother loved the flowers and wouldn’t stop talking about them, so a couple weeks later for her birthday I bought her two more bouquets totaling 16$ (They were the same kinda as the cheaper bouquet I had purchased the last time.) the LOOK beautiful, but smell atrocious! They sit on our island and if you are eating or cooking at the island, they leave a horrible, almost fishy/vomit smell! Why? What makes lilies smell bad? Could it just be that the cheaper lilies aren’t as high quality, so they don’t smell as good?
I can’t remember the exact name right now, but I specifically picked the same type of lily because I was aiming for the huge, beautiful smelling flowers I had gotten before
