pioneer magneto optical drive (SCSI) model de-uh 7101 driver file for windows?
when I connect the above drive with the LSI logic 53c810 scsi in windows XP loaded compute, drive is not showing in the my computer. The device manger showing scsi card working properly and it is XP default driver. Is this is a problem of scsi driver, pioneer mod driver or the mod drive?
SCSI devices have to be terminated at the last device in the chain of devices. and each has to have its own unique ID from 1 – 7 (Unless wide SCSI) this could be set by jumpers on the device or software or switches somewhere. The SCSI controller is one device and the optical drive is another. be sure its ID is different from the controller and any other SCSI device you have in the system. also determine how to terminate the drive.
