What is the cheapest way to move furniture from my friend from Michigan to Washington?

Not sure, but I do not think the army pay to have it shipped here. I prefer not having to drive a U-Haul or something all the way across the country. Has anyone had experience with this? What are prices for sending your equipment? It has a sofa, chair, lamp, two lamps, stools, chest with mirror, chest high, 2 bedside tables, boxes of clothes.

by far the cheapest way to do this is by U-Haul. I made a Full UHAUL things for my son and his wife when they moved and it was really not so bad.
