When it comes to remodeling bathrooms, or redecorating, it is very popular to go with a certain theme. One theme that is very popular is animal prints. Because of this, there are many animal print shower curtains. If you like different animal prints, it can be very hard to choose the one type of print that you want for the bathroom.
The first thing to decide is if you want the color scheme in the bathroom to be dark or light. Jungle animal prints tend to blend better with a darker color scheme. A good choice may be a leopard, fox, or panda curtain as these animals tend to have dark colors and be printed on darker backgrounds.
Of course, it is also important to make sure that the shower curtain can match the other décor in the bathroom, otherwise the bathroom will look very mismatched and sloppy. Check to see if rugs, towels, soap dispensers, toothbrush holders, and wall hangings will coordinate. If there is nothing that closely matches or coordinates, then it it may be better to look for another design even if you like the shower curtain a lot.
Another unique shower curtain that may be chosen is in a zebra print. This design is wonderful because it matches almost any décor. It easily goes with both dark and light color schemes. The black and white stripes match any towels and do not make the bathroom too dark or too light for the desired effect.
Of course, if a lighter scheme is wanted, other shower curtains to choose are feline prints on a light background, moose prints or other arctic animal prints, and the prints of plants or wood that are on a light background. In general these match light color schemes in the bathroom. However, at times, they can go well with a dark color scheme.
Then there is the option of choosing between a fabric shower curtain or one in vinyl. Printed shower curtains usually come on both types of material.
The problem with vinyl shower curtains is that they can tear easily and if the print is wanted to be preserved, a vinyl curtain is not going to provide that experience.
If a fabric shower curtain is chosen, there will be a problem with the bathroom getting wet so it is important to have a vinyl liner.
When planning your bathroom theme, consider who will be using the shower and the likes and dislikes for design by all of those people. While a shower may simply be viewed as a way to get clean and the bathroom a place of business, you need to take the feelings of all who will use the bathroom into consideration and decorate appropriately.
Animal prints can be enjoyed by all age groups. With all the many choices that are available it shouldn’t be hard to find a shower curtain in an animal print that is pleasing to all who use the bathroom being decorated.

I have a large bathroom with circa 1973 baby blue tile/tub/stool/sink. The tile on the walls goes up abt 4 ft.
What color can I paint the walls? Matching the blue tile is not an option. I want to leave the ceiling white. No wall paper either. I was thinking light light tan, I have a “northwoods” theme going in there with a moose/canoe/pine shower curtain, bear rug, carved fish, etc. (But open to suggestions.) And the faux suede-look paint is not recommended for bathrooms.
Replacing the blue everything is not an option for a few years.
Painting (white??) the wall tiles (glass paint?) is a possibility.
Suggestions welcomed!
