Yuck, not sure why you would want to, but you basically have 2 options. You can hard wire to the battery or fuse box, or to the light switch. All bikes today have lights that stay on once the bike is started (I hate that, but it is the law). Wiring to the switch will force you to take it apart (and probably void your warranty). It also takes skill.

Hard wiring to the battery is easy, but this means that they will either come on when you start the bike (meaning daylight hours too) or stay on even when the bike is off (meaning you have to yank them each time, which sucks).

I would recommend picking a feature that shuts off when the bike does (like the lights). Find the fuse in your owner’s manual that runs the lights. Pop one lead in one side of the fuse, and the other in the other. The lights will go on and off with your headlights and running lights.

CAUTION: IF YOU DIDN”T GET ANY OF THIS, OR IT WASN’t OBVIOUS, GET AN ELECTRONICALLY INCLINED FRIEND TO HELP!!!!! Sometimes a dealer will cut you some slack and help you out.

BE WARNED: IF THE LEDs PULL A SIGNIFICANT DRAW OF POWER, YOU MAY WIND UP CONSTANTLY BLOWING THE FUSE, OR DOING DAMAGE TO YOUR FUSE BOX OR ENTIRE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.

I REALLY RECOMMEND YOU DON’T DO THIS ON YOUR OWN.
