it is possible to mix modern furniture and furniture midcentury Hollywood Regency?

I can not seem to find any reference image. I live in a condo where the living room and dining room are not separate. here are the parts i have to work with: a modern black leather sofa, leather chair square a Bertoia, slat bench, Barcelona chair and ottoman, black leather dining chairs DWR (I think it is called Allegro), west elm dining table oak is a medium. I love the look of Hollywood Regency, but can not afford to start full. I need a coffee table, lamps, carpets (I like the zebra cow hide) something to put the tv, side tables, wall decor, etc. I am thinking about the glass table with silver base CB2. Obviously I need accent colors too. I like the tables mirrors, faux deer heads white, baroque mirrors and looking. I'm just not sure that everything looks good together. I have wood floors and walls are a kind darker neutral tan I guess I would call it. Therefore, any design advice would be greatly appreciated!
