Genicanthus bellus Ornate Angel - Large Female $169.99 Ornate Angelfish ( Genicanthus bellus ) are found on deep reefs in the eastern Indian and western Pacific Oceans. Males and females are drastically different in coloration. Males have cream-colored or greyish bodies with two thick, golden orange stripes along the lateral line and dorsal ridge. The borders of its tail and anal fin are blue. Females are light grey body with a curved black marking extending from the gill to the end of the tail. It has a second curved black marking extending from the gill through the dorsal fin. They also have a curved blue patch behind the pectoral fin and a black bar that extends above her eyes. Suitable tankmates for most of these angels would be community fish like tangs, clownfish, damsels, gobies, blennies, butterflies and similar fish. Occasionally, two angels may tolerate one another in a very large aquarium if they have very different coloration and appearance, but is not typical.
