Can I install a “ceiling light” on a wall? This is an exterior light for a deck.?
The box says it is an outdoor ceiling light, but I want to put it on the exterior wall instead of the ceiling; it is 17″ x 17″ x 6″ deep, basically a square that mounts flush. By looking at it, I can’t see any reason why I wouldn’t be able to mount it like one would a sconce light, just don’t know if there is some reason why I shouldn’t. Thanks much for any help!
