If you have placed a beautifully designed table lamp near your child’s bed, then there is no doubt of the fact they will surely develop the habit of reading. Markets are full of lamps especially catering to the needs and interests of the children.

You may think the table lamp may be boring for children. I would say ‘no’ they equally entice children as they entice adults because there are many table lamps especially designed for them. You can also make these lamps equally interesting for them by creating an environment of the world of fantasy. You can cozily make your children sit under the shade of their lamp having beautiful designs of forests, fairy lands, cartoons, or their favorite stars on them and tell them a fairy tale of their interest. This would increase their excitement and they would also feel good about it. With these lamps for children, you may increase their interest in studies and learning.

As with the changing world, needs and tastes are also changing and more or less they have to put in their best in their studies, and in extra curricular activities. Moreover they have their own style, taste, apprehensions, dreams and a very colorful life so they want to have something which is very trendy and fashionable. When I went to buy a lamp for my eight year old daughter, I was quite confused as there were so many beautiful table lamps for children with different designs and styles all together. On some, there were beautiful paintings of animals, while some had flowers whereas other even had cartoon characters. One I saw there was a beautiful butterfly designed on the lamp.

Materials used in these table lamps for children are of plastic, wood or the materials which are considered as generally safe for them and can freshen up your child’s room to their delight and amazement. I have also seen that many of these lamps are made of polypropylene and are resistant to heat. They are best suited for children and in comparison to other lamps, smaller in size. The makers of the lamps also take all the safety measures into account. There are also baby lamps to add warmth and glow in the nursery.

This wavelength is a UV / near UV lamp. I was able to turn up several with a search for “450nm bulb” and “450nm LED”, in fluorescent and LED type, respectively.

This is a pretty common lamp I think: it’s blue to UVA longwave.
