The container is the most important part of your creation since it holds the liquid paraffin. You may like containers that are short and squat, or you may lean toward those that are tall and slender. Either way, you want a refillable that will blend discreetly with the style of your decor.

· Clear Glass: This is the most common container choice for oil candle making. Look for striking, clear glass vases, bottles, jars, or lamps when you want the magic of your creation to gleam. · Pottery: You will find that pottery containers fit well with African, Mexican, and Tuscan decors, to name a few. The possibilities seem endless! Choose pottery and earthenware to match or complement walls or dinnerware.

· Stone: This can be a much more innovative choice for your creations. A stone container can be as rough as a hollow chiseled into a chunk of hard rock. Fit the rock slice with a well, insert multiple wicks, and tiny flames will seem to dance on the rock’s bare surface.
